WHO ARE WE
Praise Is The Cure® (PITC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that launched in 2005 as a breast cancer awareness to bring valuable information and supportive services to the black community regarding breast cancer and healthy lifestyles. The vision is to ensure that all Black women and men are privy to awareness, intervention and prevention resources. PITC was founded by Anita Conner a twenty-year Breast Cancer survivor, along with her daughter Kerri, a 10-year survivor. Praise Is The Cure® is a pillar of hope and inspiration for individuals in the black community battling this disease. With our continued outreach and awareness efforts in the community, we have annually impacted at least 45,000 members of our local and regional communities.
